A Stitching Challenge

I came to the conclusion a long time ago that I spend way too much money on stash. I have more patterns and charts than I'll ever be able to stitch in 3 lifetimes I think. It's out of control, so I've decided to put an end to it for a little while.

I have vowed to not purchase any new patterns or fabrics for myself until I complete 10 cross stitch projects. I began this challenge today. It's been really hard and is only going to get worse. I already had to stop myself from signing on to my favorite website, 123 Stitch. I signed up for there free drawing and then immediately started browsing the Halloween charts that were on sale. I had to just totally close down the window. That's when I came here to post about this challenge on my blog.

It's going to be rough. I'm on 3 MBs, and I've posted this challenge on all 3 and invited everyone to either join me, or continue with the challenge that was already started. On my main MB...Stitching The Night Away, a challenge was started quite a while ago. I joined that challenge and didn't do very well. I had several moments of weakness where I just gave in. I wasn't taking the challenge seriously enough. Now, I've started brand new and this time I'm planning on sticking to it. I'm going to check in here, and on all my MBs to make sure I keep up with not shopping for stash.
