My Stitching Interests

I've been cross stitching since Feb 1996. A good friend of mine taught me to stitch when were in high school. Due to having a job and going to college full time, I didn't have time to stitch when I first learned how. When I picked it back up again, I was completely addicted with that first project....Hummingbird Wreath from The Ultimate Book of Roses!

I enjoy stitching smaller, colorful designs. I tend to lose interest and motivation when I try to do a larger pattern. I love designs with lots of colors in them. I think it keeps it interesting!!

I don't really have a favorite designer or subject that I stitch any more than any others. I do a lot of Charity stitching when I'm able to. I do a lot of posting on my 2 favorite Message Boards. There's links to both of them at the bottom of my blogspot page!

I love hand-dyed fabric and 6-strand floss. They are so beautiful!! I can't get enough of them!

Right now I'm on a stash diet! I'm trying....and failing miserably I might add...to not buy any new stash until I've completed 10 projects!! So far I have 2 done! I've fallen off the wagon a few times though so far.
